The Story of "Little"

George Galvez

“All the world’s indeed a stage, and we are merely players, performers and portrayers, each another’s audience outside the guilded cage…”

-Neal Peart

From the time I was a little boy, I’ve always loved to perform and to be in front of an audience.

Elvis was always my father’s favorite.  In our home, the “King of Rock and Roll”, was just that!

As little boys do, I sought the approval of my father… That’s how I became a singer.  I entered every talent show, in every grade, throughout my Elementary,  Jr. High and High School.

My first band,  “Emanon”,  in the early 80’s, was my first creation. We played the Sunset Strip circuit and even at one point opened up for ”Soft White Underbelly” (otherwise known as “BOC”) for a midnight show.

I have always been blessed to have great musicianship all around me in my life –  this gave me many advantages honing my craft over the years.

Not to mention the singers with power, charisma and grace that always influenced me.  Robert Plant, Phill Moog, Freddy Mercury, Bon Scott, Ronnie James Dio, Bono, Steve Perry. Robin Zander, Chris Cornell and even a few ladies: Annie Lennox, Carly Simon, Gladys Night, Aretha Franklin and  Siouxsie Sioux, just to name a few, but there were so many others – too many to mention.

I performed music until I got married, but kept up my chops at Karaoke bars until the time I became divorced.

It was at that time that I had the vision for “The Little George Band” and from it’s inception over 15 years ago it has grown far beyond my wildest expectations.

I love singing into the eyes of the people I know, when they smile and cheer I know I am where I am supposed to be.  I have been blessed beyond my wildest dreams, and my journey continues to grow and prosper with every passing day.

Thank you for being a part of this amazing life, please enjoy The Little George Band!
